Howdy, folks. As of this moment, I am 22 and freshly haircutten. Haircutted. Having undergone a haircut. In a state of shorter hair due to a process of cutting that is now over. At any rate, my head is cooler now and cooler heads do, indeed, prevail.

I like to dabble in many things and many things like to dabble in me. I am a bit of a shutterbug, and a long-haired -- but haircutten! -- poet underneath a midsummer tree, and a programmer in the ways of logic, and a sillyist in the ways of sillyism. Because life is quite absurd, and death's the final word.

My favourite programming language is unequivocably Python. Java's all right in its own industrial, bureaucratic, neo-brutalist way. Scheme's purty, but the computer industry isn't in its right mind and so won't use it. I've tasted C -- kernels and low level joy and oh my -- and it's functional; err, procedural; make that imperative. I grok it, but I will never love it. The cryptic nomenclature, hard errors, and non-OO APIs are circumventable things that should not need to be circumvented in the first place.

Oh, and Perl must die.:)
